No user registration or account creation is required to use Sawarid.
3. Local Storage & Playlists
Sawarid is purely a client-side media player. All the M3U playlists you add, your streaming history, and your favorite channels are stored strictly locally on your device's memory. We do not upload, sync, or monitor your private playlists on our servers.
4. Anonymous Analytics
To improve app performance, identify crashes, and enhance user experience, we use Firebase Analytics. It only tracks completely anonymous data, which includes:
- Total number of active online users.
- Unique device counts (using Android ID).
- App crash reports and basic interactions.
It does not track what specific videos, channels, or content you are watching.
5. Third-Party Advertisements
To support our development and server costs, Sawarid displays advertisements from third-party ad networks (such as Adsterra). These networks may use cookies, your IP address, or advertising IDs to provide relevant ads. We do not control the data collected by these third-party services. Please interact with external ads at your own discretion.
6. Permissions We Request
The app may request certain permissions (like Storage or Notifications) solely for core functionalities like reading local videos, saving app updates, and displaying background radio controls. We do not misuse these permissions.
